Since Gamingtime Day Valentines Day is coming I can feel that Love is in the air and its time to rejoice the special moments that you shared (with your loved ones of course ;) The fever has started long back thanks to the mobile phones. Everyday just like me you all guys must be receiving many sms from various companies asking you to download the new love songs, wallpapers, logos and all such crappy stuff.

Agreed with the fact that its recessions time but who cares when your in love. I have been closely observing my friends for past few days. They have been busy shoplifting shopping for their gals.

The one thing that hit me hard was what are the Indian gaming companies doing? I went to few Indian gaming sites like zapak.com and games2win.com and was surprised that they had no single game based on V-Day on their homepage or on the site.

I personally feel that games based on such themes can always be handy. It gets traction (traffic) for your site. Such lively theme based games would make people keep on coming back for more. Advertisements and Branding in the game can be a good revenue source. Few give-away always encourage people to play more. There are many such more reasons which can be listed down.

According to a report by pwc Indian gaming industry is expected to touch the magical figures of $200million by 2010. And events such like V-Day should not go unnoticed.
