‘Cyber Olympics’ aka the World Cyber Games 2008 which is in its eighth edition is being held in India in association with Indiagames.

The WCG India preliminary rounds were held in Delhi on October 17-18 and will be held in Mumbai on October 23-24 while the national finals being held in Mumbai on October 25. The national winners will represent India at Cologne, Germany, for the grand finale of World Cyber Games 2008.

For those who dont know these world cybergames attract the best gamers around the world who gather in various cities to share the excitement and fun of the game tournaments.

This time around World Cyber Games in India will witness participation not only computer and video gaming enthusiasts, but also for the first time, mobile gamers from across the country.
