Recently in a Press release, FXLabs Studios revealed its plans to co- produce games for the international market.

Sashi Reddi, Founder and Chairman, FXLabs said,

“We wish to partner with developers in bringing out high end games for the international market. Through this we would like to utilize our capabilities to build world-class games for the international market.”

What type of Partnership are they looking for?

FXLabs Studios is looking for strategic partners in the US to co-produce games with them. Ideal partners would own or have rights to properties that they wish to develop.

What will be the role of FXLabs?

FXLabs will provide high end development capabilities to build games on various properties. While the partners would be responsible for all aspects of marketing the games developed.

FXLabs Studios are the one who created the infamous game Agni along with Zapak and Sify which proved to be a great disappointment for the Indian game lovers. Even the inclusion of a star like Malaika Aurora could not save the game from a big disaster.

Games based on movies like Dhoom and Ghajini and on comics like Archies are in pipeline. I hope that these games do not meet the same fate as Agni did.
